3rd Floor Teeter

Ever once in a while a project comes along that you're just glad to be a part of. I worked with a youth group for quite a few years and developed some great relationships with the kids that I worked with back then. A lot of those kids I'm still in contact with today. They're mostly grown up now, some are in college, some are getting married, some are even starting families of their own. When I do hear from one of them, it's a great day. They all hold such a special place in my heart.

Recently I received an e-mail from one of those kids. Stephanie was about 11 years old the first time we met, and since she was also the Pastor's daughter, I saw a lot of her during my time with the youth. Stephanie has a fantastic, bubbly personality and was always so much fun to be around. A truly great kid who has grown into a truly great young woman. Stephanie e-mailed me and asked me if I could design a one-color tee shirt design for the floor she was going to be an RA for at her college in Texas. Of course I couldn't say no.

Below is the design we settled on, and with some calculated begging I've also managed to get a photo of the lovely Stephanie for this blog entry as well. That's her on the right with her younger sister Jennifer. Both wonderful girls, I'm really blessed to know them.
