Bandon by the Sea

Michelle and I took a day trip to Bandon Saturday. It was absolutely beautiful. We spent hours walking along the beach and cliffs overlooking the beach, taking lots of pictures. Then, we wandered into town where they had an Independence Day Celebration going on. We checked out a Corvette car show, walked along the boardwalk and enjoyed some fish and chips, and then browsed through the gift shops and candy stores in the Old Town. We ended the trip with a visit to the Coquille River Lighthouse at Bullards Beach State Park two miles North of town. All in all, a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon, we had a great time! Check out a few of the photographs we took below.

Lucky!

I've always wanted to visit this area. Looks kind of like where The Goonies was shot.
